Wendy brings over 30 years’ experience across the NHS and community sector, combining clinical expertise with senior operational and strategic leadership.  Originally trained as a registered nurse, Wendy has held a range of senior leadership roles within many provider organisations and now specialises in workforce development and organisational effectiveness.

A qualified therapist, Wendy has extensive experience designing and delivering training for healthcare professionals across primary and secondary care. She has also served as a HIV and Sexual Health clinical and managerial leader within Public Health, responsible for the strategic development of services and innovative prevention initiatives.

Wendy has led a number of multi-agency programmes, including the establishment of young people’s sexual health services and the commissioning, development and implementation of comprehensive training for primary care and third sector organisations. She supports organisations to strengthen culture, align values with strategy and build the workforce capability needed to deliver sustainable, high-quality services. Wendy is held in high regard by senior staff within the wider NHS and has worked to support staff to make impactful delivery within a variety of patient focussed services.
